Welcome Dr. Fooks, Principal

Dear Walnut Grove Families, 

It is a matter of great pleasure and honor for me to welcome the new principal of Walnut Grove Elementary School, Dr. Jaime Fooks. She will officially begin on April 1, 2025. In addition, I will begin my new role as Principal of Five Forks Middle School on April 1. Dr. Fooks most recently served at Dyer Elementary as an assistant principal, where she was successful in delivering positive results for students and staff. A passion for building strong community connections and fostering meaningful relationships is at the heart of her leadership. With a deep commitment to creating a family-oriented environment, Dr. Fooks believes that every student’s success is tied to the support and involvement of the entire school community. 

During my conversation with her, I found her to have an enthusiasm for this new opportunity and to be a leader with great ideology, determinism, and vision. The opportunity to lead a school as principal is one, she has had a strong desire for and has worked hard in preparation to lead in this capacity. On behalf of the entire school administration, staff, and student body, I wholeheartedly welcome Principal Fooks to Walnut Grove Elementary School.

We hope that with your energy, enthusiasm, and focus on education and learning, our school will achieve even more outstanding excellence for many years to come.
