Digital eBooks:

Walnut Grove

ebooks are available through the Media catalog (Destiny). Students need to sign in to the My eCLASS portal, open the Media Catalog link and then log in to the catalog. They can then search for ebooks. To read an ebook, click on the title and then select the link to open the book.

Gwinnett Public Library

The Gwinnett County Public Library has free ebooks and audiobooks for students in grades Pre-K through fourth grade. The collection is called eReads Kids and has 15,000 fiction and non-fiction titles. Walnut Grove students just need their student number/login (2-digit birth month and day). Students not enrolled in Gwinnett County Public Schools would need a library card and pin to log in.

The students have 2 main options for research resources--the Gwinnett County School databases and the Gwinnett County Public Library.

Gwinnett County Schools has several databases available to students for research. Students have access to these through myeclass (login is the same as the one they use for school). For passwords to specific databases, click on the lock icon, next to the link for the databases.

Gwinnett County Schools and the Gwinnett County Public Library have partnered together to provide additional resources for students. Parents can opt-in at the beginning of the school year through mypaymentsplus or by sending in a completed Branch Out form to their child's teacher.

Students in the branch Out program will not incur overdue fines on Gwinnett County Public Library books they have checked out.
